THE STRETCH TENT

The perfect space to celebrate.

Our stretch tent provides a relaxed setting for your reception, with space for seating, drinks and dancing. Optional sides, matting, festoon lighting, patio heaters and venue dressing allow you to create the perfect atmosphere.

At Field of Dreams your wedding isn’t a package pulled from a catalogue. We give you the setting, the space and the freedom to create a celebration that feels completely your own.

Bring your vision to life - From an intimate gathering with your closest family and friends to a larger celebration for up to 95 guests, we can help you create the day you want.

Food & drink - Choose the catering style that suits you - from relaxed BBQs, buffets and grazing tables to specialised food trucks.

Tables, chairs & seating - We can advise on layouts and seating arrangements to suit your numbers and style, including tables, chairs and outdoor seating options.

Decorations & styling - Bring your own ideas, work with a stylist or keep things beautifully simple with our own venue dressing and decorations..

Music & entertainment - From a live acoustic musician during your afternoon reception, to a band or DJ keeping the party going. You’re free to choose the entertainment that suits you.

Activities & experiences - Make your wedding one your guests will remember. Add clay shooting, target archery or other games for guests to enjoy between ceremony and dinner.

GOOD TO KNOW

Field of Dreams is an outdoor - focused wedding venue, and the time of year can make a big difference to how you experience the estate.

MAY - AUGUST

Our main wedding season, offering the best opportunity to make full use of the grounds, lakeside pergola, outdoor spaces and longer evenings. During these months, we can accommodate weddings from intimate celebrations to larger weddings of up to 95 guests.

APRIL & SEPTEMBER

We can still host beautiful, intimate weddings during the cooler months, and we particularly recommend these dates for celebrations of fewer than 45 guests. The Retreat provides a warm and welcoming setting for ceremonies, dining, drinks and evening celebrations. While the surrounding estate adds the character that makes Field of Dreams different.

A wedding for every size.

Up to 30 guests - perfect for an intimate celebration at any time of the year.

30 - 60 guests - best suited to our main wedding season from May to August, allowing you to make the most of the estate and outdoor spaces. Receptions only could be facilitated any time of the year.

60 - 90 guests - our larger weddings are recommended from May to August, when the grounds, stretch tent, lakeside pergola and longer evenings can really become part of the celebration.

We are happy to discuss individual dates and requirements, as every wedding is different.

  • “We hosted our wedding at the Field of Dreams on 23rd August. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting for our wedding. The venue has such a calm, serene atmosphere. From the peaceful surroundings, to the beautifully kept grounds, everything created a sense of ease that made the whole day feel relaxed and effortless. Our guests kept commenting on how relaxed and welcoming it felt. Our photographer and videographer were able to get some amazing shots in the little hidden spots beside the lakes and in bullrushes etc.

    Greg was absolutely amazing and so accommodating, making sure things were in place. We and our guests loved the clay shooting and the lawn games that filled the time between ceremony and dinner. We loved being able to have our little dog with us as our ring bearer too!

    We stayed in Willow Lodge which is also hidden in the grounds. It’s so much more than a lodge. It’s finished to the highest standard!! It has incredible views and has everything you could ever need. Waking up to the tranquil views made it feel really special and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. A place we would happily return to.

Having our lakeside ceremony with the stretch tent was magical, and following it up with food in the chalet was fantastic - Greg and Ines decorated the space so beautifully. Transitioning into the evening with the stretch tent dance floor created such an incredible atmosphere.

    Our guests has an absolute blast with the clay pigeon shooting and all the garden games, and Greg was wonderful throughout the whole process. He was so accommodating and nothing was ever too much hassle - he made every single idea we had possible, from having wedding donkeys to smoke bombs and fireworks!

    Willow Lodge where we stayed the night was absolutely amazing as well, so comfortable, clean and has a hot tub!
